HILLCRAFT

What we would build for a trades and construction

Quotes from your own rate card. Jobs that fit the crew you have. Customers who watch progress instead of calling.

We build the whole office for a builder, electrician, plumber, tiler or renovation firm: quotes priced on the server with materials, travel and VAT, capacity scheduling, stage payments by card, a customer app with progress photos, invoices and expenses in one place, and a crew app with today's jobs and a hands-free mode on site. Built from the ground up and owned by you.

Built and delivered remotely from Cheshire, UK · fixed price agreed up front

What goes wrong today

Quotes typed at the kitchen table

Measure on site, price in your head, type it up after dinner, forget the skip. A rate card on the server prices the same job the same way every time and never forgets a line.

Overbooked crews

Three jobs promised for Monday because nobody looked at the diary. Capacity scheduling reserves the crew before the promise is made.

The customer wants to know what happened today

A UK owner of a villa in Türkiye is renovating from two thousand miles away and gets a photo when someone remembers. A stage list with photos from the crew app is what they are paying for.

Stage payments chased by transfer

The first fix is done and the money arrives when the customer next visits a bank. A card link at each stage, in pounds or lira, keeps the job moving.

What we build for you, from the ground up

  1. Quotes priced from your rate card

Rooms, areas, fixtures and finishes entered on site or by the customer; the server prices labour, materials, travel, waste and VAT from rate cards that never reach the browser. Versioned quote documents with an approval packet, the engine we run for Cheshire Lawns & Hedges.

  2. Capacity scheduling

Crews, trades and days as real capacity. A job reserves its crew before it confirms, and a weather layer sits over the outdoor days.

  3. Stage payments

Deposit, first fix, second fix, completion: each stage has its amount, a card or Apple Pay link, and a confirmation by WhatsApp and email when it is paid.

  4. A customer app with progress

The job as a list of stages with photos from the crew, the next visit, what is paid and what is due, in a native iPhone app. The CLH Customer app, on a building site.

  5. A crew app with a hands-free mode

Today's jobs, directions, the task list, photos at the end of each stage, materials to pick up, and a hands-free mode with big targets for dusty hands. Swift on iPhone with an Android twin.

  6. Materials and kit

A stock ledger for the van and the yard: kit out, kit back, consumables deducted per job, and an order sheet grouped by supplier. AWOW Stock, in a van.

  7. Invoices, expenses and tax

Stage invoices with PDFs, expenses photographed at the merchant, and a tax set-aside from Hillcraft Finance, the system Hillcraft runs itself.

  8. A site in your brand

Past jobs with before-and-after photos, services, and the quote journey as the call to action, fast on a phone and ranking for your trade and town.

The Apple layer your guests actually notice

Today's work on the customer's lock screen

Crew arriving 8:30, plastering in progress, finished for the day with a photo: a Live Activity on the customer's iPhone, using the same iOS 27 technology Hillcraft Finance ships today.

Hands-free on site

The crew app's mode for the person on the tools: next task in large type, one tap to complete, Siri to add a note, camera for the stage photo.

Apple Maps for the day's jobs

Each job and each merchant pick-up opens in Apple Maps from the crew app, in route order.

A QR on the van or the sign board

A neighbour scans it and the quote journey opens as an App Clip, no download, with a call-back request that lands in your app.

Apple Pay for stage payments

Each stage paid in two taps from the customer app, in pounds or lira, through your own account.

Payments in Türkiye, done properly

Deposits and stage payments run through your own account: iyzico, PayTR or your bank's virtual POS in Türkiye, Stripe or your existing provider in the UK. Stripe is not available in Türkiye, which is why the payment step is built to your provider. Hillcraft never holds your money; the provider's confirmed status marks the stage paid and moves the job on.

Built and running: the examples this comes from

Questions we get asked

Our jobs change scope halfway. Does the quote cope?

Yes. A variation issues a new quote version with its own approval; the customer signs off on the phone, and the stage payments update to match.

Can a UK-based owner follow a job in Türkiye?

That is exactly what the customer app is for: stages, photos and payments in pounds through a UK-friendly provider, in English, while the crew app is in Turkish.

How is it priced?

Fixed price agreed up front for the whole system after a video call about your trade, your rate card and how you schedule today.

Does the crew app work without signal on site?

It caches today's jobs and queues ticks and photos until the signal returns, in order, so nothing is lost in a basement.

Who owns the system?

You do: code, rate cards, job history and accounts, on your own domain and payment provider.

Send us your last three quotes.

We will show you how they price themselves from a rate card, and describe the scheduling, the customer app and the crew app around them, delivered remotely from Cheshire with a video call whenever you want one.
