What goes wrong today
Reorders arrive by phone and WhatsApp photo
A hotel housekeeper sends a photo of a label and a number. Someone in the office types it into a quote, checks stock by walking to the shelf, and replies hours later. The order is right most of the time.
Stock lives in a spreadsheet nobody trusts
Quantities are overwritten, not recorded, so when a count is wrong there is no way to see which movement caused it. A ledger records every change as an immutable entry and shows the balance as a result, never as an edited cell.
Production eats materials nobody deducted
A batch of 200 towels uses yarn, dye and labels. If each is deducted by hand, one is missed, and the next quote promises stock that is not there.
Invoices in a separate world
Orders in one place, invoices in another, payments in a bank statement. Matching them is a monthly job that should not exist.

A trade portal in your brand
Each hotel, wholesaler and boutique gets an account with its own price list, past orders and one-tap reorder. Built from scratch, the way we built the Arcade Wow storefront: catalogue, variants by size, weight and colour, search, and full SEO for the public side.
A stock ledger, not a spreadsheet
Every receipt, issue, transfer and correction is an immutable movement; quantities on hand are a projection updated in the same transaction. Undo appends a mirror movement plus an audit event. This is AWOW Stock, already running in a production workshop.
Production recipes per batch
A batch deducts its whole recipe atomically with deterministic lock ordering, so two lines cannot race for the same yarn. Low-stock push alerts arrive before the shortage stops a run.
Quotes for custom work
Embroidered logos, custom sizes and minimum runs priced on the server from your rate card with setup, materials and VAT, returned as a versioned quote document with an approval packet.
Order status buyers can see
Received, in production, packed, dispatched. The buyer sees it in the portal and by WhatsApp and email; you stop answering the where-is-it call.
Invoicing and tax in the same system
Dispatch raises the invoice, payment marks it settled, and a statement per account is one click. Expenses and a tax set-aside from Hillcraft Finance, the system Hillcraft runs itself.
A native app for the floor
Face ID sign-in, owner, supervisor and operator roles, invites by one-use QR, a photo-now-name-later flow for unlabelled stock, and the day's batches. Swift on iPhone with an Android twin if your floor runs on it.
Supplier order sheets and exports
Order sheets grouped by supplier straight from the low-stock list, CSV export for the accountant, and nightly backups you can restore yourself.
The Apple layer your guests actually notice
Order progress on the buyer's lock screen
The hotel's purchasing manager sees the order move from production to dispatch as a Live Activity, with the courier stage and expected day, using the same iOS 27 technology Hillcraft Finance ships today.
A delivery pass in Apple Wallet
Each dispatch becomes a Wallet pass with the consignment, the delivery address pinned in Apple Maps for your driver, and a reminder for the receiving side.
A QR on the label that reorders
Scan the QR on a bale tag or a finished-goods label and an App Clip opens with that item, that account's price and a reorder button. No download, no login typed.
Widgets for the owner
Orders in production, dispatches today, low stock and what is owed on the Home Screen, with Siri shortcuts to confirm a batch.
Apple Pay for the boutique side
If you also sell direct to the public, the same catalogue takes Apple Pay and cards through your own account.

Questions we get asked
Can different buyers see different prices?
Yes. Each account has its own price list and terms, and the public catalogue shows retail. Prices are calculated on the server so nobody can read another account's rates.
We count stock in bales, metres and pieces. Does the ledger cope?
Each item has its own unit and conversions, so a bale received in kilograms can be issued in metres and a finished piece counted individually.
What does it cost?
Fixed price agreed up front for the whole system after a video call about your products, your accounts and how the floor works today. No platform rent.
Can we keep our existing accounting software?
Yes. Invoices and movements export as CSV or through an integration with your accountant's system; the ledger stays the source of truth for stock.
Is everything delivered remotely?
Yes, from Cheshire, with video calls, a private preview as we build, and the floor app installed through TestFlight before it goes to the App Store.
