HILLCRAFT

What we would build for a diving

Certification captured, deposit taken, kit list ready before the boat leaves

A booking and payment system built from the ground up for your dive centre: courses, try-dives and boat dives on your own site with live places per boat, certification level and medical questions captured at booking, and an Apple Pay or card deposit so a no-show still pays. WhatsApp confirmations, Apple Wallet passes for the boat, and a crew iPhone app that knows who is diving today and what kit they need.

What goes wrong today

An email address with no mailbox

A domain with no mail records, a WhatsApp number as the only route in, and enquiries from the UK that never reach anyone. The diver books with the centre next door.

The certification question asked on the boat

A booked diver turns out to be uncertified, or the depth of the site is wrong for their level, and the day is rearranged on the pier with everyone watching.

Places on the boat held with nothing down

Six places held by WhatsApp for a group that had a late night, tanks filled, kit sized, and a boat that leaves with the places empty and unpaid.

Kit that goes out and does not come back

Regulators, computers and BCDs tracked on a whiteboard. The missing one is discovered when the next diver is standing there waiting for it.

What we build for you, from the ground up

  1. Boat dives with live places

Each day's boat with its sites, depths, departure time and places for certified divers, students and snorkellers. A place is held while the diver pays and reserved inside a transaction, so the boat is never overbooked.

  2. Courses with schedules and prerequisites

Open Water, Advanced, refreshers and try-dives as products with start dates, theory sessions and the number of dives, in GBP, EUR and TRY, with the prerequisite checked before the booking goes through.

  3. Certification, medical and waiver at booking

Level, agency, number of dives, last dive date, the medical questionnaire and the signed waiver collected before the day, so the pairing and the site choice are made the evening before.

  4. Deposit by Apple Pay, balance on the day

A deposit the moment they book and the balance by card link or on the pier by QR. Sea-state cancellations refund automatically; a no-show does not.

  5. Kit as a ledger, not a whiteboard

Every regulator, computer, BCD and wetsuit as an item that goes out against a diver and comes back, with sizes assigned from the booking, service dates and a low-stock warning. Built the way AWOW Stock runs a workshop's parts.

  6. Confirmations with the jetty pinned

WhatsApp and email with the meeting time, the jetty in Apple Maps, what to bring, the surface interval rules and the no-fly reminder for the day before departure.

  7. The crew's iPhone app

Today's boat, who is diving, their level and last dive, the kit assigned to each, who has paid and the instructor pairing, in a native app with Face ID sign-in that works with no signal at the site.

  8. Logbook and photos after the dive

The diver gets the sites, depths and times in a message after the boat docks, with the day's photos for sale, and a nudge to book the next dive with their card already known.

The Apple layer your guests actually notice

Departure on the lock screen

A Live Activity counts down to the meeting time, then shows the boat, the first site and the surface interval through the day.

The boat pass in Apple Wallet

A pass in your brand with the date, the boat and the diver's level, appearing on the lock screen at the jetty and scanned by the crew.

The jetty in Apple Maps, the no-fly in reminders

One tap opens the exact jetty, the meeting time adds itself to reminders, and so does the end of the no-fly window after the last dive.

Photos by App Clip on the pier

A code at the centre opens the day's photos and video for purchase by Apple Pay with nothing installed, and the next dive bookable in the same tap.

Today's boat in a widget

For the owner: divers booked, kit out and takings on the home screen, and the next departure in the Dynamic Island.

Payments in Türkiye, done properly

Deposits, course fees and balances go into your own iyzico or PayTR account or your bank's virtual POS; your bank does not change and Hillcraft never holds the money. UK and EU divers pay in GBP or EUR with Apple Pay or any card and see the amount in their currency before they confirm. There is no marketplace commission on a dive sold on your own site, and a sea-state cancellation or a refund inside your window goes back to the same card automatically.

Questions we get asked

How long does it take?

Boat dives, courses and deposits come first so next season opens with real places online; the kit ledger, crew app and Wallet passes follow. We agree a dated plan on a video call, and the winter is the time to build.

What does it cost?

Fixed price agreed up front after a call to scope the boats, courses and how much kit you track. No monthly fee and no commission per diver.

Do we need to change our bank?

No. Payments run through your own iyzico or PayTR account or your bank's virtual POS, and the money goes to you directly.

Can it work alongside PADI or SSI systems and hotel reps?

Yes. Certification is recorded as the diver states it and checked by your instructors as now; the agency's own e-learning and certification systems stay as they are; reps sell from the same live places through their own links.

Who owns it, and do you need to come to the centre?

You own the code, the data and the accounts. Everything is built in Cheshire and delivered remotely over video calls and WhatsApp; your course list, boat schedule and kit inventory are all we need.

Tell us about your boat days

How many places, which courses, how you check certification today and what a no-show group costs. One video call to scope it, then a written plan.
