HILLCRAFT

What we would build for an online store and checkout

A storefront that is yours, not rented. A checkout that carries your brand to the last tap.

We build online stores the way Stroba and Arcade Wow were built: from the ground up, with the checkout, the payment webhooks, the stock and the SEO under your own code. No monthly platform fee, no cut of sales, no template, and a product page that can become whatever your product needs.

What goes wrong today

Platform rent plus a cut of every sale

A monthly fee, transaction fees on top, paid apps for anything beyond the basics, and terms that can change under you. The store never becomes an asset.

The checkout is someone else's brand

The customer leaves your site to pay on a generic page, and the moment of trust is spent on a logo that is not yours.

Payment status and orders disagree

A webhook arrives twice, or not at all, and an order is marked paid that was not, or stock is decremented for a payment that failed. Settlement has to be one verified, de-duplicated transaction.

Discount codes over-redeemed

A one-use influencer code goes round a group chat. Without an atomic claim on the server, it is used until you notice.

What we build for you, from the ground up

  1. A storefront built from the ground up

Catalogue, collections, product pages with variants, reviews and cross-sells, a cookie cart in a glass drawer, search with trigram matching, money kept in integer minor units, and a theme engine with a pre-paint script so the theme never flashes. The Arcade Wow storefront, in your brand.

  2. A checkout under your own code

Card, Apple Pay and, if you want them, PayPal and Bitcoin/Lightning. Each order raises an invoice; webhooks are verified with constant-time HMAC, events are de-duplicated, and settlement runs in one transaction that locks the order, marks it paid and decrements stock. Exactly how Stroba runs.

  3. Discounts that cannot leak

Codes validated on the server with an atomic usage-limit claim, per-customer limits, stacking rules you set, and a report of what each code actually cost.

  4. SEO built in, not bolted on

Structured data for every product, a sitemap, per-route metadata, fast pages with self-hosted fonts, and clean URLs in both languages.

  5. Stock as a ledger

Every sale, return and delivery is an immutable movement; the store sells only what the ledger says exists, and low-stock alerts arrive before a variant sells out.

  6. A design system for your brand

Colour, type, spacing and motion tokens, themes and components, so the store, the emails and any app we build later look like one company. The system behind the Arcade Wow storefront, built for you.

  7. Order admin and shipping

Pending, paid, packed, shipped, with carrier labels from your own courier account, customer messages by email and WhatsApp at each step, and returns that write back to stock.

  8. Campaigns and games

Launch pages with music-reactive visuals, campaign emails built to render in every inbox, and branded mini-games that hand out a code to whoever beats the score.

The Apple layer your guests actually notice

Order tracking on the lock screen

Paid, packed, with the courier, delivered: the order as a Live Activity on the customer's iPhone, using the same iOS 27 technology Hillcraft Finance ships today.

Apple Pay express checkout

From the product page to paid in two taps, address and card from the phone, through your own payment account.

A collection or returns pass in Apple Wallet

Collection points and return labels as a Wallet pass with the location in Apple Maps and a QR the counter scans.

QR to product as an App Clip

On packaging, in print or at an event, a QR opens the product as an App Clip with Apple Pay ready. No download.

An owner app

Orders to pack, today's revenue and low stock as widgets, notifications when a payment settles, all native on iPhone with Face ID.

Payments in Türkiye, done properly

The checkout is written to your own payment account: iyzico, PayTR or your bank's virtual POS in Türkiye, Stripe or PayPal in the UK, and BTCPay if you want Bitcoin and Lightning. Stripe is not available in Türkiye, which is exactly why the checkout is built to your provider rather than to a platform's. Hillcraft never holds your money; the provider confirms, the order settles in one transaction, and stock moves at the same moment.

Built and running: the examples this comes from

Questions we get asked

We are on a platform now. How do we move?

We import products, customers and order history, keep every old URL with redirects so rankings survive, and run the new store in private preview until you switch the domain.

Is a custom store harder to maintain?

It has fewer moving parts than a platform with twenty plugins. Products, discounts and content are edited in an admin built for you; the code only changes when you want something new.

What does it cost?

Fixed price agreed up front for the whole build after a video call about your range and what you pay the platform today. No revenue share afterwards.

Can we sell in lira, pounds and euros?

Yes. Prices per currency in integer minor units, and the checkout picks the provider for the customer's market.

Who owns it?

You do: code, data, customer list and payment accounts, on your own domain. It keeps running whoever maintains it.

Show us the store you rent. We will describe the one you would own.

Send a link and roughly what you pay the platform each month. We reply with a plain description of the storefront and checkout we would build, delivered remotely from Cheshire with a video call whenever you want one.
